会议简介

“国际全球学大会”（Global Studies Conference）是“全球研究学术社群”（Global Studies Knowledge Community）所组织举办的以全球化研究为核心的年度学术会议，会议组织机构设置于美国伊利诺伊大学香槟分校。全球学大会致力于从不同视角研究人类社会的全球化进程，邀请不同专业背景的研究者共同讨论全球化背景下的地区或国际问题。

第一届全球学大会于2008年举办，之后每年与不同国家的知名大学合作。2015年该会在英国伦敦帝国理工学院举行，而2017年的会议将于6月8日-9日在国立新加坡大学举办。今年会议主题涵盖与全球化进程相关的经济、政治、环境、社会等各大议题，其中诸如不平等发展、增长的界限、可持续发展、城市主义等分议题与城市研究息息相关。
